Refund Policy for Pizza R Us

This Refund Policy governs all transactions made to support Pizza R Us ("the Bot," "we," "us"), primarily processed through our Patreon page. By purchasing a subscription tier or signing up for a trial, you agree to the terms below.
1. Nature of Goods (Digital Services)
The primary items offered via our Patreon (VIP status, Fast Track roles, Gold profiles, custom vehicle commands, etc.) are digital, intangible goods with immediate access.
Once your payment is processed by Patreon (or your trial begins) and the corresponding Discord roles/perks are automatically assigned to your account, the service is considered fully delivered for that billing period.
2. General Refund Policy (Paid Subscriptions)
Due to the instant and digital nature of these services, once a payment has been processed, all sales are generally considered final and non-refundable.
We do not offer refunds for "buyers' remorse" (changing your mind after a payment has gone through).
3. Free Trial Policy
Some tiers (such as standard VIP) may offer a limited-time free trial.
How it works: You will have full access to the tier's perks during the trial period at no cost.
Cancellation Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to manage your subscription via Patreon. If you wish to avoid being charged, you must cancel your pledge before the free trial period expires.
Automatic Conversion: If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Patreon will automatically process the first month's payment to continue your service.
No Refunds for Forgotten Cancellations: We do not offer refunds if you forget to cancel a free trial before it converts into a paid subscription.
4. Exceptions for Digital Goods
We review refund requests on a strict case-by-case basis. We may grant a full or partial refund under the following specific circumstances:
4.1. Technical Errors & Double Billing If a technical error on Patreon’s end results in a duplicate charge for the same month, we will refund the duplicate transaction immediately upon verification.
4.2. Prolonged Service Failure If the Pizza R Us bot experiences a significant, prolonged, and unannounced outage (e.g., the bot is offline for more than 7 consecutive days due to an error on our end), you may request a prorated refund for that month's subscription.
Note: Routine maintenance or brief downtime does not qualify for a refund.
5. Non-Refundable Circumstances
To ensure clarity, refunds will NOT be granted in the following scenarios:
5.1. Moderation Action (Bans and Mutes) If you violate the Pizza R Us server rules or Discord TOS and are subsequently muted, kicked, fired from staff, or banned from the server, you forfeit all remaining subscription time and perks. You are not eligible for a refund.
Supporting the bot does not grant immunity to behavioral rules.
5.2. Inactivity We do not offer refunds because you "didn't use the perks" during the month. The services were available to you whether you used them or not.
6. Physical Merchandise Policy (Shareholder Tier)
For tiers that include physical rewards (e.g., The Shareholder Mousepad), the following applies:
6.1. Damaged or Defective Goods If your merchandise arrives significantly damaged, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic proof. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.
6.2. Shipping Failures & Reimbursement Clause As stated in the Shareholder Tier description: If we are physically unable to ship to your location due to international logistics restraints, or if the shipping cost to your specific location is prohibitively high, we reserve the right to cancel the physical shipment.
In this specific event, we will issue a one-time partial refund equivalent to the manufacturing cost of the item.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes (Strict Prohibition)
By purchasing services from Pizza R Us, you agree that you shall NEVER initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank, credit card issuer, or payment processor (e.g., PayPal) against us.
7.1. Sole Remedy Your sole remedy for any billing issue is to contact our support team via the method outlined in Section 8. If a refund is warranted under the terms of this policy, we will issue it directly.
7.2. Immediate Blacklist Violation Initiating a chargeback is a severe breach of these terms. If a chargeback is filed, your Discord account (and any associated accounts) will be immediately and permanently blacklisted from using the Pizza R Us bot globally.
7.3. Reinstatement Process and Fees The only way to appeal a chargeback blacklist and restore service access is to:
Repay the original disputed amount in full; AND
Pay an additional $30 USD Administrative Penalty Fee to cover the dispute costs incurred by us from the payment processor.
This fee is non-negotiable. Until these amounts are paid, the blacklist will remain in effect indefinitely.
8. How to Request a Refund
If you have a billing issue or believe your situation qualifies for an exception under Section 4 or 6, you must contact us by opening a Supportl ticket in the Main Support Server.
